Default Parts for sale off my LT1 Stroker

My 385 stroker is apart and instead of rebuilding it, I found a complete shortblock locally. Therefore, I am selling all of the components.

These parts are in EXCELLENT shape with only 11K miles (rounded up). I lifted 2 ring lands on spray so this low-mileage motor was dissassembled. I only damaged pistons and made some light scratches on 2 cylinder bores. The crank and rods are absolutely fine. My loss is your gain.

Eagle/Scat Forged crank (3.75") which cost $665 new
Eagle I-beam rods with ARP rod bolts.
I'll sell both crank and rods together for $600 plus shipping if necessary. Would love to do a local/pickup sale so buyer can look them over. I have nothing to hide. I will also include the crank snout which is off the crank currently.

SOLD! Comp 306 roller cam for LT1/LT4 motors. Also 11K miles.
230/244 @ .050 .544/.576 lift with 1.6 rockers 112 LSA Sounds NASTY through long tubes and true duals. $382 new from Comp. Sell for $175 firm plus shipping. SOLD!

SOLDI also have a billet aluminum March underdrive crank pulley and matching overdrive alternator pulley (keep an automatic trans car charging at idle). The kit currently sells for $107 new and I will throw in a low mileage serpentine belt... all for $75.SOLD

What happened exactly with your spraying mishap? Just curious as to the details. Things like power level, saftey stuff, etc.

PM sent to wrd 1972.

dhdenney, I had piston rings butt ends and lift the ring lands.

They had not been gapped enough for the cylinder pressure of nitrous... and I didn't know that. Was a great motor that laid down 432/468 Naturally Aspirated through a 4L60E, steel DS and 12-bolt.

Here are pics of the rods. I may have posted prematurely as I just got everything back from the engine builder ( Port Pros, sponsor -->) this morning. I have not even had time to remove the pistons, but here you go as a couple people requested pics of the rods asap.

The pulley set just sold to a local buyer.

I owe answers to a couple questions from members. Will work them up tomorrow.

OK, measured everything this morning to be sure.

On the crank, the rods and main journals are turned down .010

The Rods are 6"

I will be off the computer this weekend, but can get back to PM's and inquiries on Tuesday.

does the 306 cam require extensive computer tuning to run? and are you open to a dual 12" mtx subwoofer trade plus cash for it? just wondering -D

The crank and rods are in perfect shape. Nothing about them that would need to be fixed. There would be no extra charges from a machine shop to set it up. Of course the crank will need to be balanced and you would need to buy rod and main bearings. I'd call a trusted shop and get a quote. Just tell them what you want done and that you'd be giving them a 3.75" forged stroker crank and a set of Eagle 6" forged rods.

Yeah, a 306 definitely requires a PCM tune. Looking for $, not trade as I'm building a motor and the cost is similar to sticking a vacuum cleaner in my wallet. Looks like the cam is sold anyway.

Bumpitty.

Crank, rods, and cam are all still for sale!

Have had a lot of interest, but no one has said "sold, payment on the way".

I do not want to ship the crank. I do not have a proper crate for shipping it and if UPS did not handle it correctly, it would bust right out of a cardboard box and get ruined. So for that item, I prefer a local/semi-local sale where the buyer can pick it up.

Thanks for the interest, but because no one said "sold!" I just let a local friend know that he can have the cam.

John, to answer your question, that cam made 432/468 NA to the wheels with AFR 195 heads on my 385 stroker.

Crank and rods still available!

I also have a bunch of other LT1 parts:

Oil Pan, 2 OEM dampners, oil pump (also with just 11K miles), alternator, etc.

My 385 block is also for sale. It's available for viewing at Port Pros here in Austin. They are a sponsor --->

I can vouch for Todd and these parts. I assisted with the install and I tuned this setup. Good parts......good seller!!
