Default New GT-K and GT-M series turbos

Well you guys asked for it and they are now available. The new GT series turbos from T-netics. GT-K turbos will be available in starting Jan-07, they are all offered in your standard flavors from 53mm to 76mm wheels. Also the new F-trim turbine wheel will be used and it carries the newer taller tip height which reduces backpressure, but still keeps spool up. Prices are being listed as retail right now. We will have turbos ready for the public.

Also the new custom GT-M turbo is ready to go as of Nov 15th (tomm). This will be the next evolution for the 76mm crowd. It will be the top 76mm in its class. Sporting a new HP 76mm wheel with taller tips, and new large LDP turbine wheel and Ball bearing CHRA. This turbo will support 1200+hp. Best of all its a T4 flange!! Call or pm for pricing!

How does that compare to a GT42....

And how would it spool on a 2.3 litre

The new HP76mm wheel will move more air then current .312 based 76mm wheels. Also the GT42 is quite a bit externally larger and has a 3.5" downpipe. The GT-M is compact in size (same basic size as 76GTS) and uses a 4" downpipe side as well as its a BB and can be rebuilt, where Garrett DBB's can not. As for spooling on a 2.3, shouldn't be a problem with the right A/R.

Hot damn that looks great. I know the GTS is rated at 1100 hp but real world on a LSx engine how much more power u think this new turbo would be capable of makin over the gts with a .96 ar. Thanks man

been watching turbonetics site and saw that the GTK series were being intro'ed at sema. Now the site states that these things will go for 2600 for the GTK-1000(76mm) thats a lotta chedda http://www.turboneticsinc.com/turbo_gtk.htm

Take it the GTM series is for larger displacement engines?

Is my TC76 comparable to the GTK1000 or are they two different beasts altogether? Looks like its pretty much the same other than the coating and anti surge housing...

So how does the GT-M stackup for size and fit vs. the Innovative GTBB-80? Is it potentially a better replacement than the current PTE-88 on a T4 flange?

two different animals. those two turbos have 2 very different wheels, the GTK uses lighter and bigger wheels that are suppose to spool faster
