Ebay halo lights? Price to good to be true??
Whats up everyone, im thinking about picking up some black halo headlights for my camaro. i was looking around on ebay and noticed that they are insanely cheap. im talking less then a $100. has anybody used these? in the pictures they look good, so whats the catch. Im sure they leak but if i just put a good bead of silicone around them dont you think i would be ok? thanks for any help. heres a link to some ebay results

i plan on doing that also. thats what everyone else does. I havent heard of any leaking. more companies are offering them so the price has finally hit <$100. I remember when they first came out they were $200 +$50 shipping.

that price is pretty normal now. price has come down a little bit and those ebay companies always jack shipping so they can make their prices look lower.
i just bought halos and clear corners from a company on there for like 170 shipped, picked him because of the feedback. it's not worth it to me to try to deal with some moron to save $20.

If you want Halos then go for it... When I was looking for a set it was weird because it went in cycles...
For a couple of months Halos were $100 + $40 to ship while the sort of Whistler style headlights were $149 + $40 to ship...
Then when I wanted to buy the Halos they were all $149 +$40 to ship and the "whistlers" were $100 + $40 to ship...
Mix in the fact that sometimes they would add turnsignals to different headlights and you could get Black Halos w/clear w/black housing turnsignals for $125 + $30 shipping!!!
Of couse when I wanted them there were no such deals and I paid $45 just for my turnsignals ...
Anyways, the prices cycle... buy now while it is down...

i thought halos had projectors. But i have a trans am and havnt looked into it much but i could sworn there was some halos with projectors.Thatd be the ultimate for an hid set up! I have a 2004 audi tt 226 coupe and man, those bi-xenons are amazing! Theyre cool to watch flicker and start and then you can see everything. The projector set up helps a lot
