Ported a little too much of my throttlebody!
So I thought I'd give porting a shot and apparently I took off too much material I now have a very small hole in the TB as shown in the pics. I had to shine a light on the other side of it to get it to show up in the pics. I'm done porting it (no need to sand it smooth and polish the inside as it's only going to marginally help air flow) but can I still use this thing? I was thinking maybe a little glob of JBWeld in the hole on the outside of the TB and then sanding it smooth. Do you guys think that would be ok? I really don't want to buy another one on ebay. Oh and it looks like there's still a ridge where the metal goes from smooth to rough (where the TB blade usually sits) but that's not true...it's actually a smooth transition with no obstructions

I have one that is almost done if you need it. It has shaft cut, the bump stop mod, the throttle blade knife edged, its ported and polished very nicely, and has the throttle blade drilled out. I am just waiting/deciding whether to fill the idle bypass or not.

IT IS GARBAGE.. so you might as well send it to me..
i think JBWELD should work just fine.. i would apply it from the outside of the TB and then sand it smooth on the inside (very carefully).. make sure the outside of the TB is really clean befor u put the JBWELD on

i did the same thing on mine, my dad had some high strength metal adhesive (similar to JB Weld) that he uses on some of his models, it worked great. i've driven the car alot and checked it several time, and shows no signs of letting up.
