Question True Duals ?

this is for anyone who has or has had the true duals dumped setup from Texas Speed or Speed Inc. what are your opinions of the system? has anyone had any installation problems with either?

also anyone who has true duals and has there car lowered can i see pics of how close you are to the ground and will you inclue what diameter the exhaust is and how much you lowered it?

thanks

3" duals on a lowered car are pretty close to the ground. That was why I went with a 2.5" setup.

Ive had the TSP for a year or so, no "problems" with the install, and have only scraped once (stock height) and that was with my fatass friend in the car going through a steep parking ramp.
Other than that clearance is gravy.
Loud in the interior tho, like the sticky says, "you'll discover rattles you never knew you had".
It's bearable for a while, but ima get cats and extend next season.
It was a good kit for a while, but ive gotten tired of the noise on the interior.

I've had them for a few months and I love them! Installation isnt bad (I did header and duals at the same time). It helps alot if you have someone experienced with you though.

I love the sound.. and I get alot of looks! It honestly to me isnt that noisy in the car but I guess I'm used to it. The girlfriend is used to it too so no worries there.

I'm lowered ~1.75" and went with 2.5" for my duals. I'd be clearing pebbles off the road with 3".

My tsp setup is 3" at stock ride height, and the only thing i scrape on is massive speed bumps. You can't beat the sound though. Interior noise is pretty annoying down the highway. Installation was a peice of cake and this is coming from an 18 yr old with no lift and no exhaust experience whatsoever. You can't beat the sound at full throttle, its awesome!

Here's the only pic I have right now that gives a hint to my ground clearance. The pass side muffler looks a lil crooked in the pic but it's not, and the light makes it look worse than it actually is. There's right at 3" of clearance under the mufflers, and they're the lowest part of the system. Haven't scraped them once. Someday I'll have to get better clearance shots.

i love mine. the only problem i had was with the brackets but i had an exhaust shop fix it for 30 bucks and got more clearance. i did my headers, true duals, and spark plugs but i have experience and a lift plus lots of tools. my radio can drown out the exhaust at DD speeds. i went by my friend about 5500 rpms and he said it hurt his ears. definately gets looks.

TSP true duals can tuck up nice, all depends who installs them. I love true duals.

depends on who installs it and if they do any other work under the car. i have 3" TDs over the axle and i also have the clearance to run a pro kit if i pleased with only the normal lowered car problems, no added problems from the duals....but am currently at stock height
