Default TR6's for full-time plug?

I know the TR6's are good plugs for nitrous but I am wondering if I can run them for awhile with no spray while I save up for a new dual stage nitrous system. I am going to try changing plugs to see if it fixes an idling problem that I am having and I sure as hell dont want to do it more than once. Thanks in advance.

I've ran tr6's on my n/a 346 engine.

I now use autolites with a gap of .045 on my current setup.

I ran them for about 10k miles when i had N20 hooked up. I drive it to work and school and really didnt notice any difference in power or just overall perforamance. When I changed back to the 55s they still looked and ran great.

I run the TR6s N/A with no problems, I've noticed no differences in running them than any other plug I've used in the past, N/A ofcourse.

Good overall plug for the money tr6s and tr55 are the same price. It seems to me the tr6 could take more heat and will work fine on n/a applications.

you will see a difference in idle due to the fact the 6's are supposed to be gapped differently then the 55's...they more or less were specifically designed for the No2 setup, there also a colder plug

well for example, my cousin owns a 98z....he ran ac delco iriduims....pretty smooth idle, when he got on the bottle the car would run much better with his 6's....when he was hitting the juice but at idle there was a little more thump to it then the ac delco's
