Default How rare is this 1999 WS6?????

Been looking for a while now. Seems every year is available but 1999. My fiancee picked up this 1999 WS6 last year and apparently it has a history. Plenty of mods and a wicked paint job.

We want to know if the car came from tha factory with this paint or if it was custom. It is a chameleon ralley stripes(Gold, red, purple, blue, gold etc)

It is a 1999, T top, 6 speed manual, WS6, In dash CD player, leather electronic adjusable seats. The big thing is the paint.
Pics are below (obviously). If anyone could help us out or point us in the right direction. Also, it is registered with the National Firebird Club, but we are having a hard time getting them to reply to our emails.

Yeah I love her car. Sometimes I like it better than mine (2004 Saturn Ion Redline #36 of 500). Such a pleasure to drive and look at. The paint turns alot of heads.

My Saturn has really nice recaro seats. LOL and the gas milage is better. So "sometimes" would be at about 1000 miles on a 2000 mile road trip.

Well, when you compare the number of WS6's made to the number of Firebirds...yeah, I'd call em rare...especially when you try to find parts! Not amazingly rare like a mint 69, but u get the picture.

Uh, yeah, my buddy uses the Grand Am for trips longer than 100 miles....plus he's dropped 1.5 inches with the WS6!

ws6 are only made 2000-2002 I believe, the '99 u got had the hood done, ram air package put on, maybe even ws6 emlbems put on the car. there's no '99 and '98 ws6 for sure.
does the car manual say 1999 WS6? I highly doubt it.,, I got a '99 TA as well.

Huh? What parts on a WS6, that are not on a standard Fire Bird, do you consider "rare" and hard to find? They are damn near identical. (exception of LS1 vs v6, hood, wheels etc.)

That car is far from rare. I could find and buy a WS6 this afternoon on my lunch break if I wanted to.
