i was looking into this and was wondering is it possible to have a stock sounding car that is naturally aspirated but makes 450-ish hp and equal tq? i was looking at maybe a high duration and lift cam but with a 117 lca? if you all have any information on it i would be very greatful.

the reason for this is everyone says they love there cammed car but as a d/d its too loud.

Perhapse a 408 with a "mild" cam and raised compression and headwork with windage tray and all the other "little things".

The only way to have a stock sounding car and make that much power is lots of cubic inches.

just use lots of mufflers. Get some true duals, use bullets before the axle, after the axle use a traditional quiet muffler, it'll suck up some power, but your car will be quiet.

buy the 06 Z06 427 crate engine from GM. Dynoes 480ish (i think) STOCK and sounds,,, you guessed it, STOCK!

catted y pipe and hooker cat back. im shooting for around 430-450 rwhp after i do my heads/intake. it doenst sound stock but its "quiet"
