Which LT and ORY gave you the most clearance under the car. Speed bumps are a bitch in my part of the world. And the Kooks just aren't getting it. Thinking about trying the pacesetters. Whats your thoughts?

Kooks is supposed to have great clearance... idk why you'd go from kooks stainless steel to pacesetters... its the ORY thats ur problem. Get a custom y-pipe setup that will tuck up nicely and keep the kooks, trust me on that...

I know the kooks are better as far as quality but I am hitting at the collector! and then at the ORY. As of right now the ORY looks so horribly bad and bent and beaten from speed bumps it has to go anyway. The headers aren't looking so great either. I have looked at a buddies with pacesetters and his headers dont come out at an angle they come down and straight out. Wheras the kooks I have come down at and angle and too far down at that. Just from observations I see that the pacesetters have better clearance just wondering if maybe there was something better.

My LG's seem to be tucked in really nicely. Orienting the clamps is a challenge.

Damn, how low are you?! My Kooks LTs and Catted Y tuck up real nice. I hardly ever hear of anyone scraping the collectors with any brand of headers, even if you have most lowering springs. (Eibach Pro-kit, Hotchkis, etc.) Except for SLP, they'll probably scrape if you raised your car from stock ride height. Could it be motor mounts? Are they the stock ones? Your whole motor is kinda sagging down and cause things to scrape? Is there anything banging on your floorboard?

Sounds like they have mountains for speed bumps where you're at. Any way to avoid them?

I got the Dynatech Supermaxx headers and catted y. I have plenty of ground clearance and the workmanship is excellent.All SS.

my Eldelbrock LT's and Y seem pretty nice now that Finishline Performance tucked them under they way they're supposed to be.

I have seen these type and as far as I am concerned these tuck up the best of all headers.My Edels are better than most also.

ya could be my motor mounts still riding on stockers and got 96,000 miles on the car think i need to pick up some poly's any suggestions on that could possibly be the reason my header tubes rub the steering shaft as well???

I would do the mounts anyway w/96000 on the clock.
