I coulda done a better job welding but was in a hurry to make sure nothing shifted. It it all lined up perfectly when we bolted it back up to the car I was hoping that it would go back up without any adjustments, and the turbo fit like a champ too.
IC tubing time, and we have to get the DP finished.

Mr pippy made me sad
Brian, Just takes a bit of time, but we have more time than $$ anyway Kinda sad to see it take so long though, its tough when there are two schedules to get to line up.
Eric is super busy with his work and family, so we work on it when we can. Should go by real fast now. IC pipes and DP are easy to do.

Not too shabby if you ask me! Things are coming along rather nicely (Thanks lil' bro for all your help!) I just need to get the materials for the down pipe and IC. Im gonna check a local metal scrap yard here and see what I can come up with on the cheap. Hopefully, by next weekend we will have the IC mounted and plumbed and the downpipe completed. Just depends how much moola I got to spend.
Hey Chris, thanks?!? Must be between you and my bro
Realquick, thanks for the positive comments. I know you've been putting these DIY'er kits for awhile. Any help or opinions are appreciated. I do think my brother is getting rather good at building these things himself. Now, we just gotta figure out whats up with his ride.
Thanks 96silverram.

frcefed98 I have some advice since I have an LT1 myself. but you can actually get rid of the lower driverside hose on the waterpump and plug it with a 3/8 fitting (I think thats the size) and you can even plug the other side if you guys do not plan to have heat. Didn't know if you new this or not already but it would give you more room around the turbo too.

Thanks for the advice, there is plenty of room around the turbo for all water pump hook ups, and yes the car will have heat, no a/c. Heat is mandatory since we drive em when its cold out. Didn't know that about the 3/8npt fitting tho, be nice to lose some of these hoses in here

Go look at a LT1 impala or Corvette they are blocked off from the factory.
Many people report cooler oil temps after taking the oil cooler off b/c it tends to get gooped up on the inside and actually restricts flow.
Look it up on camaroZ28.com been discussed many times. I say ditch it JMO.
