exhaust vibration
hey guys i have a question for you.
i have a aftermarket cat back on my car[not shure what kind but its 3 inch]
and the tips where sckewed up so i cut them off after the bend that goes back to the bumper and now i have a lot of interior vibration that i dident have before.will puting small turn downs and the end of the 2 pipes stop it ?
if not what can i do?

Most likey the vibration you're getting is because the exhaust exits under the car. What you can do is get some pipe extentions and have them welded onto the ends of where they are now and run them out the back. Then you can put on new tips or just leave them like they are. If you route the extentions out from under the car and out the back you probably will have no more vibrations.

If you get the exhaust out from under your car it will help alot. I installed a slp LM on my car and it had dual center exit tips stock. but we ran out of time before getting the tips hooked up so with just the pipes about 8 to 10 in short of the back the car had alot of vibation and resonence. once we moddifed the elbows oging to the tips andhooked them up all teh vibration was gone... so either get soem tips on tere or puttin turndowns on will help some.
