I am running Cats Caps and ARP bolts. The crappy place I got them from sent me the Cats caps instead of the one I picked out then argued with me about them and would not give me a number for Bolts. I called ARP who in turned called Cats and between them I got the correct bolts ;0

Good luck!

Callies splayed caps and arp studs here. Fit fine, works well with the Milodon diamond stripper windage tray and stock oil pan as well.

One thing I learned when comparing notes about windage tray fitment.

The Eagle mains are slightly wider than the Callies. The guy I was comparing windage tray fitment with, he had Eagle mains, and his were hitting the Milodon windage tray. Mine didn't. Probably not a big deal, but just something we observed. We also saw that the bolt heads on my Lunati rods were slightly more recessed than his Eagle rod bolt heads (which gave a little extra windage tray clearance as well). Again, that may not matter, but it's the only feedback I have.

I don't have part numbers, I didn't build the shortblock, I bought it assembled this way.

Yeah, I think THEY COME WITH THE OUTER BOLTS. You will need the same main stud kit that you would use for the stock mains. 234-5501

I think it's better to use the arp stud bolts than use the one's that come with the eagle main caps.

Does the ARP splayed cap stud kit work with a windage tray or do you have something different. I want to use the same setup you have but I need to know which studs to order. I see there are six attaching bolts in the Diamond stripper. I basically know nothing about the ARP splayed cap stud kit.

I bought the shortblock already assembled, and it had short (regular) ARP main studs installed. These would not work with the windage tray.

I ended up ordering the part number ARP-234-5501 from Summit. I used the long studs for the windage tray. I think the kit only had 5 long studs, I seem to recall leaving one hole 'empty' on the windage tray, but the 5 studs I used held it immobile.

The rest of the studs (the short ones from that kit) are still in the box, along with the short ones I pulled out. I keep meaning to ebay them... Basically I paid $55 for 5 long studs. On the Summit site, Milodon sells windage tray studs, but I gave up on them after 2 months+ of backorder waiting on them, bit the bullet and paid for the ARP kit just so I could get on with life. I think it was MIL-81150 at Summit, and they (the 6 stud kit) seems to be back in stock.
