replacing door pin?

Default replacing door pin?

my door drops down when it is opened and the pin is bent, it is really bad, i need to find a replacement and possibly a write up on replacing it.

Simple, take the interior sail panel off and then you have access to the inner rear fender. Take a torx bit and unbolt it. Take the new one but it into the hole and hold the bracket with your hand and torque it down. Did this to mine many a times.

You probably need to replace the hinge bushings as well...sounds like they are sagging.

its more than a sag, the door literally drops.

and the pin im talking about is the one where the door hinges.

You may be able to patch that door with A LOT of good fiberglassing, but Id look into replacing that door. That pin youre talking about is part of the hinge. You'll need a replacement hinge as well but theyre easy to replace.

not sure where you are located but I can sell you a new door for a good price. I am in Dallas, let me know if you are close enough for pick up. I have to the hinge too I believe. And sorry about your troubles.

im working on a sale right now for a silver door in georgia. im located in panama city fl. i knew the problems with this car before i bought it, still has a clean title and basically stole the car.

but how much are you asking for your door?
