How many S13 LS1's are there?
I am starting a S13 coupe LS1 swap and I have seen a couple others on the forum. But I was curious if anyone had an idea of how many known swaps have been completed.

I am in the purchasing stages of an LS1 / S13 build. I have secured a motor, trans, ecu, harness, maf and an 89 240sx and I am working on getting the drivetrain and car to the shop so I can start fabricating.

Thanks Function. Mine is complete and I've been driving on my new rebuild for a while now. I havent had any problems except for the spun bearing but that was out of my power. It runs great I love it. AMS, you guys are building a LSx 240 now? I am guessing you'll guys do 8s with that thing...
Hinson hasnt sold many I believe. They are wayyy to pricey. They came in to show their kit off and then left.

I cant wait to see what you and AMS cook up. Great to hear eveything is going so well with your swap besides spun bearing. I wansnt impressed with what I have seen of the Hinson FD or 240 kits.

i haven't been impressed with anything from hinson other than the clutch line... at least that fit as described. he calls his clutch MC kit "bolt on"...... yeah i'm sure it bolts to something but it sure as hell isn't a 240sx. his mounting kit is extremely overpriced but i guess you can charge whatever you want when you're the only one selling the kit. and don't get me going on his wiring harness that i may still be stuck with . took my perfectly good 02 harness and sent me a piece of crap i couldn't give away in return for my 400 hard earned dollars.
i'm ranting. sorry for that, been a long day.
my car has been running since mid september except for the downtime with a spun bearing like slo. it's back up and better than before with the rebuilt motor singing a happy tune again. dynoed 332/326 with about 120 miles on the new motor, i expect to gain some from rings sealing and then a good tune with HPT. tonight was the first time i drove the car on the street with a little aggression and a 4th gear downshift on the interstate with the pedal matted will cause tingly sensations all up and down the spine while easily blowing by the dumbass in the minivan that just cut you off.
