saw my first 07 Cobra on the street

saw my first 07 GT500/Cobra on the street Was on Chapman near Down Town Orange on sunday...
Black with silver stripes.. guy looked to be 50+.. we were in our Tahoe at the stop light..he drove it pretty smooth.. no peel outs or quick take offs.. followed him for about 2 miles when I had to turn... sounds awesome.. I tried to hear the S/C but i couldnt..
so Orange people.. be on the look out.. there is at least 1 prowling around.

Last I checked, C6Z's are more than 60k over here......besides, it only seats two. I would like to take my kids in a 'fun car' as well..

Ford got confused on the identity of the vehicle. I would have called it a Cobra, especially after dressing it up with those emblems.

GT500 = new age cobra. avg selling price 60k
Z06 = avg selling price 70k+

IMO, they did the right thing. The confusion is, SVT did the work, and in concept they weren't sure if it was the new SVT Cobra, or if Shelby would be 'involved'. So the 'ealry looks' were calling it, the New SVT Cobra. Prototypes weren't 'Shelby's'.
Also, all the symbols used on teh GT500, were used on teh original GT500s. The originals did have the 'snake' on it.
