Default Burnt out Signals Anyone?

Well my problem has been going on for well, since i bought my car. I cant seem to keep my turn signals lit. To begin with, i had the stock amber corners and my right corner seemed to collect moisture thus causing the signal bulb to short/burn out.. at least i think. So, i bought two aftermarket housings. I installed them and both of them collected moisture also burning out my right corner. Now, two questions 1) has anyone else had this problem? and 2) how did you fix it?

Used to happen to me and that was because I didn't use any bulb grease Put a good amount of bulb grease on and haven't had a problem since.

I've heard of people drilling small holes on the bottom of the corners so water has a way out. Other than they blow dry them then seal the edges with silicon.

Yep, when I got my clear side markers I had issues with water collecting in them too, mainly just the passenger side one. The gap between the front bumper and the headlight there is bigger than on the driver side so water kept coming in through top where the bulb plugs into the housing. I put silicone all around the edges of the housing, and also put a thick bead of silicone around the hole in the housing that the big bulb plugs into, and also put silicone on to the thingy that holds the bulb, then siliconed again all around it once the bulg was inserted into the hole. Haven't had any problems since.
