Question Ok.. how do you get the turn signals out?

What is it with GM that you cant get the turn signals out, the bulb broke out off of the connector and is lodged in the signal unit it self, I have all the screws removed but I cannot find the magic angle to get the signal out and I have it wedged in the inside of the bumper and I cant move it. And y is that that the second screw holding the headlights in is in an impossible location where a srench cant get to it and there is no room to move it even if you could.

Could someone please let me know how (or link a manual) to getting the turn signals out without busting anything

you should be able to reach in and just twist the socket out, i'd go in through the opening in the bumper cover right under the turn signal

this exact same situation happened to me, the bulb fell into the amber signal itself, i would advise you not to take anything apart, with some patience you can get it out, just take a peice of wire or fishing line, put some duct tape on the end of it and fish it out, you'll get it eventually and wont risk screwing something up, took me about 45 minutes to get the damn thing out and another half hour to get everything good to go

when you do get them out, put a little electric grease on the sockets...not in them, but around them....will keep the water out....main cause of these things failing
