Default 2bar or 3bar tune

Getting my car dynotuned with the small 2.5 bar MAP sensor (12580698) using HP tuners. Do I get a two bar tune, or three bar tune on a 2002 f-body? I have searched, and I have checked out hp tuners site, I can't find a definitive answer.

I assume you could do either, its just the map that holds you back. If you applied a 3 bar custom OS the map would only read to 2.5 bars. Personally though I would just do the 3 bar & be done with that. Should be the identical resolution so theres no real drawbacks with doing a 3 bar rather then a 2 bar.

any reason why? I would always leave room to grow in the future as long as your not loosing any resolution.

Well my question is and tell me if im backward or not. Lets say for example the stock map reads 0.0volts for 29" vacuum and 5.0volt for 0" vacuum. Wouldn't the two bar sensor show 0.0 for 29" and 2.5 volts for 0" and 5volts for14.7psi. The 2.5 bar would read 0.0 for 29" and 5.0 at 22psi wouldn't the 0" be off?
