Check Gauges light???

Check gauges means just that. Check them to make sure they are in the proper operating ranges. If the temp is too high, oil pressure too low, volts too low, or fuel level too low the light will come on. If there is not a problem with any of these, then there is a deeper issue.

I check my guages every 2 minutes. My grandpa helped teach me how to drive and he used to be a pilot. The habit stuck with him and he imparted it to me, now I do it without realizing it. It is just good situational awareness.

The Z28 I have now is the first one I've ever had...so when the "Check Gages" light first when off I was scared shitless. Then I noticed I needed gas..
Why can't it just say "low Fuel" like a normal car?

Because if you bought an F-body instead of a mustang you have proven that you are smart enough to answer the "which one isn't like the others?" question.

They also never yellow or fade. and then put the weakest rearend ever in all of there ls1 F-bodys?Its not all that bad, they could have put a shitty engine under the hood or a weak tranny in the tunnel. The 10-bolt is adequate with OEM spec stuff on the car, unlike the T5 tranny's that would break all the time on stock mustangs and camaros back in the day.

You can't expect any OEM manufacturer to make a auto trans that'll hold 150rwhp over stock and/or spin 1000rpm higher than designed with a TC stall speed 2000rpm higher than stock without needing to be beefed up. If all the parts on these cars were built to handle that, the base prices would be much higher.
And if they went with a larger trans (like a 4L80E) the weight would increase hurting both MPG and acceleration, not to mention the increased cost.
