I did exactly what you are dooing. Mine lined up perfectly, i had the formula hatch and swaped for the high rise ta hatch. You will need some help because the bolts at the top are a pain in the *** to line up, bolt down, and hold the hatch up all at the same time. Maybe adjust the bump stops on your car or if it is not lining up where it locks loosten the lock and adjust it a little. It can be done, Good luck

u might not want to pay it, but a decent body shop should be able to adjust it in a few minutes if u can't get it

could you possibly close the hatch and line it up like that and tighten it from inside the car?

you can adjust the ones under the headliner, but not the ones actually bolted into the hatch from inside the car

The hinges on my formula hatch were stiff and the hinges that were on the ta hatch were loose and thats why i said to get help because they are a pain in the *** to hold up and get the bolts lined up, hold the hatch up, and start threading nut on there. You willl figure it out. Good Luck
