Default Help me choose injectors

Hey, i am fixing to install a racetronix pump and hotwire kit and some injectors, then get the car tuned, just wondering what size injectors i should get with the mods listed in the sign. plus the addition of pacesetter long tubes and a x-pipe. The car is a weekend driver and i drag race every weekend also. oh ya and im dropping the predator and doing hp tuners.

Didn't see anything in your sig that would put you above 350HP, and I'm assuming your Plate kit is a wet kit so you don't have to compensate for fueling there so 28 lb injectors should work fine for your current setup.

I can't recall if 99 came with 26 or 28lb injectors.

Any reason you want new injectors? Are you going to do any more mods in the future? Do you have a HP goal?

If you move up, I suggest 42#. But they will require an immediate tune.

Since the 99s do come with 26lb (As TWS pointed out) then yes I'd upgrade them because you'll probably be beyond the safe limits of a 26lb injector (~330HP).

Depending on your power goals I would purchase the correct injectors for where you want to be when it's all said and done.

I think 42lb injectors would work, however they are overkill for 350HP, and if you aren't going to mod anymore after that, then no reason to spend the extra cash. If you are going to mod more, then definitely buy bigger injectors based on your fuel requirements.

I just bought 37lb injectors for my setup and I should be in the 400-450hp range N/A with a 100-150 wet shot on top of that.

Yes, i plan on doing more stuff to my car, but im waiting till the motor goes, its got 117,000 miles with lots of bottles run through it. My next motor will be a a 408-427, but i will purchase everything it needs then all at once, i was just wondering if it would help to put bigger injectors in or if the stockers will do, my next mod will be a fast90/90 setup but that will work good on the new motor also!

get the 42 lbers. if you plan on a 408/427 later on you can reuse them and they will work great on your current motor when tuned.
