Default truck manifold kit... please help

so i got my shortblock back in and i threw a set of heads on it to see how close everything fits. well the motor is sititng too close to the passenger side. im using a bmr tubular k member and poly mounts, and the flange on the truck manifold is almost touching the frame and the stud on the manifold is almost touching one of the bars on the k member. any ideas? i'll have pics up very soon

Try loosening the motor mount bolts and moving the motor away from that side, should give you alittle clearance.

ok well then thats correct, i'll try loosening the mounts and moving the engine over. if that doesnt work maybe my k member is tweaked.

You can remove the studs and install bolts if it will give you more clearance, but i have noticed more room for the 6.0l to the frame on my cars.

im thinking its possible the k member is tweaked a little. i mean it bolted in fine no problems maybe the motor mounts are welded on straight. when i put my trans crossmember on i did have to fight it a little bit had to push the trans towards the drivers side which would push front of the engine towards the passenger side

What year are the manifolds?

I have 02s and 04s sitting here and they have the flanges in different locations.

This might be your problem.

are you using the stock cast mounts attached to the kmember or did it come with the BMR pedistal mounts?
