Ok, I want to do some LT headers on my camaro and I had a few questions.

-first, do I have to use a certain size ory because I would like to hook them up to my stock exhaust.

-what is a good brand that is affordable. I was looking at the MAC true fit, and coated pacesetters. What do you guys think of those.

- Last, what is everything that I will need in order to do the install (extension, etc.).

the stock Y wont fit, if you look at it, its like flat looking....pacesetters are a great idea, really worth there money....and you need a friend whos done it before because itll be a pain by yourself....you need alot of patient to, breaker bar, the spray **** that breaks the bolts (brain fart)

Ya you dont want that POS stock y pipe it sucks, get the pacesetter headers and y pipe combo and it will sound awesome at a great price.

how much louder will it be with the headers, ory, and stock exhaust? I would like to keep it somewhat low key

The sound will improve a lot. Since you have the stock catback, I'm thinking it will be relatively quiet when cruising around and sound mean as hell at WOT!!

I will be selling my y pipe once my true duals come in from texas speed. They are on back order, so if you are still looking once they come in you can get my y pipe. It has about 700 miles on it.

I forgot to mention that the pacesetters are nice and the after market y would bolt up to the remainder of the exhaust, it may need to be trimmed a bit. IF emissions are not a problem then the off road y pipe would be the best and get some o2 sims or have it tuned out.

Pacesetters are great quality/price/fit. You will need a y-pipe, where do you live. You might need cats if your state laws are unfriendly. You'll need gaskets but you can opt to use the stockers. The extensions are plug in but I made some by splicing the wire. I would suggest to replace the plugs and wires during the install, I wish I had. You should also plan on some type of tune in the not so distant future. I would recommend either software or handheld, dyno tune just for headers seems like a waste.

I would consider saving your money for True Duals. Do some searched in the External Forum for True Duals, there are custom ones and a few kits like the Bassani kit that runs the pipes out the back (preferred).

There's nothing like the sound and performance of True Duals, regardless of what header you run with it.
