Default Anyone running a Centerforce dual friction clutch?

I got a clutch for Christmas but I am having trouble finding out info on it. I have searched the threads on LS1Tech and it does not seem to turn up many bad things but not a lot of good things either - not much info at all. I was planning on going LS7 but the wife bought what she could find. The guy at Jeg's "highly recommended" this clutch. I drive my car about 95% on the street so it's street civility is the most important thing. My car is 385-400 RWHP right now. I do not have any plans for major power additions anytime soon. I take it to the track about 2-3 times a year. Any thoughts?

Thumbs up

I am on my 2nd CENTERFORCE DUAL FRICTION on this car, but have had 5-6 more CENTERFORCE CLUTCHES on other cars over the years....I replaced mine the lasttime with one again because they seem to last ....... not the strongest though...but if u don't go crazy, it will work very well....ALL DEPENDS on your DRIVING HABITS........

ive got 3000 miles on mine right now, for the street its pretty nice it grabs when you want it to, but ive noticed mine does not like to hot lap at all, but it seems like thats my only problem with it. other than that its a really nice clutch.

Taking it down the 1/4 and then taking it down again within 15min. without letting the clutch cool.

Oh okay, well my car is my Daily Driver so it should last a very long time correct? Also if I do plan on taking it to the track one day I'm sure I will let the clutch cool down a bit.
