Default 243 heads and futral 224/224/588/588,114

Hi, I'm about to put a ls6 243 heads and futral 224/224/588/588,114 cam,ls6 intake with ported tb,lid with filter, slp cold kit, edelbrock shorty headers, catback borla exhaust, slp y-pipe,36lb injectors, walbro pump and all smog components attached. I was wondering how much rear horse power can i get out of these mods with a basic tune? Also what type of spark plugs goes good with these setup and what gap setting should i do on the plugs?

Also how are you going to run an ls6 intake manifold with all the smog components attached? Did you buy the SLP version?

You must be running shorty headers to pass smog correct? Otherwise it makes more sense to change those out to LTs.

With a good tune I'd estimate you'd be putting down somewhere north of 370 rwhp.

Lt's would def benefit your set up, look in the dyno section there's a sticky at the top with cam only dyno numbers.

are you auto or m6? You should go to the track before the mods and then after and judge your car off that.

Im guessing auto youll put down 370 is and m6 maybe 15-20 more.. assuming the heads didnt have any work done but if your wondering why no one on here suggests shorties, its because gms stock exhaust manifolds flowed as well as any shorties on he market and shorties dont create exhaust scavenging like long tubes. The MAC mids are ok but you can get long tubes for cheaper than them.

Go Here... Best headers for the money, ask around.

If you dont need emissions NO SHORTIES!!!! You could gain 30 to the rear over them with using LT's. You wouldnt JUST get added header power you will free up a couple points on every aspect of the upgrade.
