I have just gotten my new LS2 up and running. It is in a 99 camaro.
My question is, do I up the 02 operating system in the computer or stay with the 99 OS? I will be tunning with EFILive.
Thanks

The '02 OS offers many awesome upgrade paths into the custom OS world. Take a look at www.holdencrazy.com for the "99 migrated to 02" OS as a starting point for your upgrade.

custom tune
Hi,
Does anyone have a custom tune, that is close to this setup?
LS2, 9.0:1 comp, LS1 cnc ported heads w/ 2.02/1.57 valves, 218/224@114*, stock LS1 intake, 60# injectors, 65 PSI fuel, vortech supercharger @ 13 PSI, SLP headers, High flow cats, and meth injection.
Also I was on the holdencrazy.com website, but didn't find the 12212156 OS.
Does anyone have the link to it?
Thankx
Al

Even if you found one exactly the same it would not be good to use it.
Combustion chamber dimensions, Quench height, Exhaust setup plus loads of other variables mean that you cant just throw someone elses tune in and expect it to prevent you blowing your engine up.
There are some FI tunes on holdencrazy, but you should only use them as information as to what others have done. Best is to read all the tutorials and work your own tune up, checking with the example tunes for ideas.

What are you trying to do by flashing the cal over this M6 tune? You won't be able to do that because your stock OS (which I'm assuming is the one your are trying to cal flash) is not the same - hence the error.
If there are tables you want to take across tot he new OS you'll have to do it by hand. Also be aware tat some of the tables are different dimensions and axis may also be different also.
I'm surprised it didn't start up, but I guess you are cam etc. Maybe have a look at the timing and airflow tables in your old tune and compare.

Here is what I did:
read PCM and saved tun
opened tun M6 from above and did a full reflash of the OS.
upgraded from 09381344 OS to 12212156 OS.
If you look at the direction
http://68.178.219.18/tutorials/Custo...20Tutorial.pdf
in step 4. it said to reflash the cal over the os flash.
I was just following the direction, and don't need any of the old tables, that I am aware of.
This is when I get the error.
So what should I do?

That is the custom OS tutorial . It is for going from a stock OS to the Custom OS modified version. So for instance you would go from stock Os 12212156 to Custom OS 0202000x. In this situation the calibration flash from 12212156 is valid in the Custom OS because the basic structure is the same.
You are going from one stock OS to another, which this process is not for, and will not work. The only way to get a calibration from one OS to the other (right now) is to make lots of mouse clicks. I would also not recommend taking all the calibrations from your 1999 file to the 2002 file - there are too many differences.
You *may* need some of the info from your old tune if there is *stuff* done to get the car running wth your cam etc.

You mean MAF (Mass Air-Flow Meter) right? Not that familiar with the 99 OS but I'd suspect so. The Custom OS Tutorial does go through that at least. Talked about setting MAF fail codes and also putting system into Open Loop.

Well I used the 99 directions and the car started
Now I just have to get it to idle.
Thanks
