taking off rearview mirror ?? how the hell

Default taking off rearview mirror ?? how the hell

i gotta take the rearview mirror off. whats the trick without breaking it ? thanks

Try heating it up with a blow dryer, probably both the inside and outside. Maybe this will help.

There should be a little screw that holds it against the plate glued to the windshield. Loosen that screw and the mirror should slide upwards & come right off.

couple ppl told me about a screw. there is no visable screw on mine though

no screw, just a clip. but the clip is a major pita to put back

f bodies are just pressure fit on.....no screw just pull off the mirror.... putting them back on is a major pita... i just went with a c5 mirror w auto dim and compass

It slides back on from the top really easy
