Default how much boost can I get without belt slippage on a stock 8 rib setup

I want to run 14 to 16 psi on my next motor and I was wondering how many of you guys are doing that on the stock 8 rib d1sc belt setup, what are you guys doing if you are getting belt slippage? I talked to bob and the guys today and there going to get back to me on a pulley they had made up, but I forgot to ask bob how far I can go with the stock setup

With a larger crank pulley, and a different inlet filter assembly, we have done 16 psi without any problems. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=42

I believe ASP http://www.aspracing.com/intro.htm is now making a larger crank pulley for the ATI ProCharger systems. Bob

i made 475 on bobs eddy current dyno on a 90 degree very humid day with a very safe tune, so that would have been around 515 or so maybe on a dynojet. these guys are way to sharp to not see belt slip on there dyno, and ive never seen any signs of it

we tested it out for procharger and we went 19.9 psi with stock bracket and stock pulleys we added an adjustable brace frome the j-bracket to the motor to get rid of boost flex..

I can see with a big crank pulley, and a bigger blower pulley to match, all that extra material for the belt to grab has to help out quite a bit.

I did 14psi on a 7.65/3.40 stock 8 rib pulley combo with a P1SC with the hat off and no slip. With the hat on the P1, it made about 12psi without slip.

I am now getting 14psi with a 7.65/4.25 stock 8 rib pulley combo with the hat on the F1 and no slip.

The key thing everyone is the filter, if you go ahead and ditch the stock filter and swap the larger one we have found to work, you will either pick up boost or make the blower work not as hard.

The inlet tube is not so much a total restriction, but the factory filter is when you step pulley sizes.

I have ran 17.5 lbs reliably on ATI 8 rib 7.625 crank pulley, ATI bracket/tensioner, and 4.0 inch blower pulley
