I just ordered an SS style bolt on fibreglass SS style hood from keystone..is there anything i should know before bolting this one up..i reead somewhere before that the strut brace or something is too strong on the Z28's and need to be changed for the SS hood?

I'd be afraid of one strut putting uneven force on the fiberglass...

Once again you are fine with the stock struts... The SS struts are no different than Z28 struts (trust me, my friend's have parted plenty of these cars out...).

If you're really worried about it leave your factory hood (metal one) popped open over night (MAYBE two nights) in the garage... That will wear down your factory struts in no time... I know from having my car painted and leaving just a fiberglass hood up in the air over night...
