Default rev motor = spongy pedal

I have been having some hydrolic issues for a while and today i noticed that while i was driving down the road i pushed in the clutch and reved the car to 5grand plus and when i let the pedal back out it just sat on the floor. Even before i noticed this i have been having another problem...i can WOT shift 1-2 no problem but when i go for 3rd the pedal is on the ground same thing if i start in 2 i can bang 2-3 no problem but go for 4th and nothing. I know its bled well. Im just wondering if its the slave thats the problem or the master...I have a new Gm master to go on i just hate pulling the trans for the damn slave.

I had the same problems in my ws6. I replaced the slave and the master and still had the same problem. This past weekend i put in a new ls7 clutch to solve the problem. I have not made any WOT runs yet i need to let the clutch break in. IMO this should fix the problem. It has something with the high rpm and the clutch presure plate getting weak.

Yeah I had the same problem until I replaced my clutch and slave cylinder. The stock master is still in there and the problem is totally gone so I'm pretty sure it was a bad slave.

i also have the same problem that 1BAD02WSG is talking about, my friend has a 99 Z and also was having his pedal stick to the floor or feel spongy after high RPMs, he did the drill mod and hasnt had any more problems so Im pretty confident that should take care of it.

i also thought it was the slave and so we replaced my slave and my spongy pedal went away for about a week and then it was back to how it was before the new slave, this was before i was aware of the free drill mod, i hope to do it soon and see if it actually fixes my problem as well. good luck and let me know how it turns out, i would think if you do the slave and drill mod you'll have it covered fo sho.
