General LSX Automobile Discussion - Vince Vaugn drives an LS1 WS6.

The wife told me that Vince Vaugn drives the same car as myself. Could not beleive it. She showed me some pics in the recent issue of In Style magazine of Vince Vaugn driving a NBM LS1 WS6 Convertible. It was pretty sweet.

Vince Vaughn seems like a really cool, down to Earth guy. Probably doesn't need anything exotic, just some good ole brute muscle :D

I am not surprised. Believe it or not the Trans Am has a small but loyal following. Probably been that way ever since Smokey and the Bandit came out in the mid 70's. If I were to win millions in a lottery you would see my car collection having a few classic muscle cars along with a Ferarri, Lamborghini, Saleen and yes even a LS1 WS6 or Firehawk.

The trans am does have a following and yes even some wealthy people own them. Tony Stewart was very proud on TV saying that he bought a smokey and the bandit edition trans am to go next to his lambo in the garage.

Sounds like vince just keeps gettin cooler and cooler. Lil' wayne also has one. I saw it on cribs. Between him and Baby that had 50 cars, most were alot more pricey, but sure enough, right in their front yard was a silver RamAir.

I am for sure its a NBM WS6. The magazine that I saw had a front end pic, with the front end ram air hood nostrils flaring, as he drove off from Jennifer Anistons house.

I'm 6'1 and have no problems. I'm sure another three inches is not going to matter.

If you think about it, its not that surprising that some celebs would be driving them.. Im seeing more and more people buying muscle cars, even rap videos are filled with them.. Just the other day i saw some rap video and one guy had a 67/68 camaro and he was drag racing a c6 vette.. Theres nothing else out there that looks even remotely close to a ws6.. People always say mine looks like a space ship.

I think vince should let me put some bolt ons on his car.. assuming he buys the parts of course.

6'6" 280lbs and I am more comfortable in my formula then anything else.

Yes no one can site behind me and people when they see my seat think I am laying down because of it being reclined so far but when I get in it dosnt look so reclined.

Every try to sit in a porsche, or any other popular sports car. All are too small, big part of the reason I own 3 f-bodys.

6'7" and I can drive with the T-tops on. ;)

I have plenty of room to shift and not be cramped at all on a cruise. If I had to choose for a cross country trip with 5 people, my GTP would be the one, I can sit all the way back, with the seat reclined and my brother (6'4") can sit behind me and not have his head rub on the headliner and be comfortable enough to sleep in it. :)

6'4 265 never had any fittment issues with my formy last generation preludes have a lot of leg room for tall people too cousin had one was suprised with the leg room

i don't see what money has to do with driving a WS6. i could have bill gates style cash flow. i still wouldn't sell my car. if i had to drive one single car 'til the day i died, it would be my little, stockish MRM formy. i wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. if i had as much money as vaugh, i'd take my car, put a WS6 hood on it, give it a H/C package, a built 4L80E, a D-1SC and let it ride :drive:

the firebird is the best car in the world. i'd take it over a 'vette, lambo, ferrari, BMW, porshe, mclaren, whatever. i don't care, i love my car and it's all i've EVER wanted in the world of automobiles. i'm never going to sell it. when it stops running, i'll just buy a new engine and transmission. i'll rebuild the damn thing as many times as needed. the million mile f-body? when i'm done with it, it will be!

My fbody has quite a bit of head room even with the top up and I'm 6'0. Add 2" sitting down for 6'4, I'm sure it's not bad. Plus it's a vert, though his top is up, what IS he thinking now that I think about it, looks like a nice day.

i love my car so much. i talk to it and tell it that i love it when i park it at the train station on mornings. i'm serious. if i won the lottery, i'd forge the internals, put in a 236/239 cam or something similar and put a D-1SC on it and forge the internals. i'd LOVE a blown formula :drool: can you say "SVT what?"
