Adjusting McLeod MC problem I have McLeod MC installed with new rebuild kit. Bled the clutch.
Now after driving for a while clutch start grabbing lower, lower, finally car stuck in the gear. Fluid check - maybe few drops less than full.
Opened bleeder screw on slave and air got sucked in. Now while bleeding air comes out with little bit of fluid and next time I open bleeder - air sucks in again. Fluid at the reservoir stays at the same level.

I tried , to adjust the rod within an inch doesnt make much difference.

Did you rip the seal on the rebuild?
Did you try to hone the master's bore w/ a wheel cylinder hone?

Rebuild kit came with no instructions, but I put all internals in the way it was.
Update: I pulled clutch pedal with my hand and boom – it started working , fluid level dropped and clutch is operational again. Now I found that quick disconnect is wet, its probably has a small leak but master failed to suck fluid from reservoir and creates a vacuum in the line. When I pull the pedal with my foot or play with it – its getting better and fluid level drops the way it should. I think the piston is not operating in the proper range in the cylinder and somehow blocking fluid inlet hole.
Questions: How much thread do you see on your MC Arm?
Is it supposed to be some play at the top or pedal should be firm all the way?

I'd keep an eye on the fluid & how the pedal acts. I also flush my fluid semi annually or on sight.
If it's getting dark I flush it, saves alot of problems for my McLeod master.
I like to adjust them to have a little play at the top of the pedal, so it doesnt put pressure on the slave.
