Default What do you think I should do next?

I wasnt sure where to post this thread. But I figured lowering would be an appearence upgrade. I know I want to lower it. But I also want to make it faster. I just dont really have the money to do both at the same time. I am going to be scheduling an appointment with my mechanic to have a whole **** load of things done to it that have, well... broken. I'm not going to go through the long list of things wrong because it is just going to get me upset. But, AFTER I get these things taken car of, I want to do one of two things in the spring. For speed I want to put in some 4:10s (or 4:11s, which ever is the GM ratio). If I lower it, I'm going to do an Eibach pro-kit and some bilstein shocks.
Heres a pic:

ya I'd say lower it.. Make sure you get a photoshop of the car first just in case you lower it too much .. and Personally I wouldnt put 4:10 gears on a 10 bolt, but thats just me. My car just hit 10.89 secconds and I still have a 10 bolt, so far it doesnt even make noises or something, but I didnt change the gears or put a big stall and so far that 10 bolt seems pretty strong but not to put money on it cuz I know soon is going to break then if you get another rear those will not fit.
If you do need the photoshop PM me and I can do it for you or just post in the multimedia section.
good luck man
put it here to get a photoshop done http://www.myls1.com
anytime man

Well then I guess its settled. It will be lowered. Does anyone think a pro-kit will be too much? if so, what other springs should i go with?

With those low-pro tires you def need to be lowered ...and i don't think the pro kit would be too much. Just watch out, i have heard a fair amount about eibachs sagging

IMO...lose the rims, they don't look good to me. Go get a set of tt2's, get some black trans am door accents, and tint the windows a bit....

Another vote for lowering it. However, in addition to that, I would increase the aspect ratio of the tires you're running. You need more side wall, imho. I love those C6 wheels but, I'm not sure how I feel about them on a TA. I think the design of them is a little too clean and docile for a TA. Just my 2 cents. Either way, your car is sweet.

Lower that guy. I think eibachs would be fine. I've heard that the sagging thing is a myth. Contact these guys. They'll help you out with anything you need to know, even which brand to go with. http://www.stranoparts.com/

LOL I saw the title, saw the car, and thought to myself "Self, w/out even looking at any replies, The 1st thing I'm going to guess that has been said is that it should be lowered"

Eibachs make an Fbody have the perfect stance IMO. I'm biased though b/c its what I have. Many compliments on them though

Oh, and FWIW, i have been told that 4.10s on the stock rear end is NOT a good idea. Something about it being too small for the teeth. Check the tech section for more info on this.
