Default fix door panel cracks...

i know this might be an old subject but i just wanna know if anyone has ever fixed up their door panel cracks so that they looked good?

weak...i drew a line where my cracks were a month ago and the crack keeps on spreading....I CANT STAND IT!!!! IT NEEDS TO STOOOOPP!!!! PLEASE DEAR GOD!!!!!!!

sounds to me like you need new door panels

I bought new door panels and radiused the notches where the crack starts. Still haven't had a problem.

I posted some pictures, run a search.

Where do they crack? I have never seen this.

Thanks. It seems like it is mostly TA's so maybe I will not have to worry about it.

ebay, they pop up occasionaly but you have to watch it like a hawk. There are a lot of people who want door panels for cheap!

Mine were cracked also. I got replacements at e-bay without any cracks. Before installing I reinforced them since they all break at the same damn spot. So far theyre fine. I also try not to lower the window all the way down. This puts a lot of stress into the panels.

wasnt there some kinda class action brought to gm about this but it failed? i remember reading something like that on this board a while ago...i would love for gm to replace my door panels for me...

It would fail if we brought GM to court as it doesnt provide any negligence. There is no direct or indirect harm to owner/passengers or surrounding people. Now, if it greatly decreased the ablity to stop a T bone hit from coming into you, when maybe that would be enough negligence..But since its a coupe it relies on the body for that, not the interior...
