Default LS1 Edit HELP! Comm Error?

Have an 02 Z06 that we just put TSP Longtubes on. Fired up the LS1 edit to disable the rear 02 sensors, it connects and says reading VIN then continually flashes "comm err: attempting to re-establish connection with PCM". On the dash it flashes "reduced power mode, service traction system, etc". Anyone know what to do?

are you using a serial to USB cable? if so you may need to change the comm port setting in edit.

We are using a serial to USB cable. And we have tried the comm port setting twice now, changed it from different ones and back. It still is giving us the error. It starts to read the PCM and then gives us the error after a couple seconds.

If your using actual LS1 edit they informed me it wouldn't work with a serial to USB cable. You had to get one that converted using the PCMCIA slot cause the other is just a simulated signal

Default Ls1 edit

I just had the same issue on my laptop. I talked with customer support for a while, then i figured it out after working on it for a week.
The answer for me was to uninstall ls1 edit, and reinstall it. Seems it didn't install correctly the first time and i didn't notice. Now i'm great.
