has this been brought up before? months ago i saw previews for it in theatres. it was an ls1 bodystyle ss camaro. i believed it was used as a badass cop car. i dont remember the name of the movie though. some kind of action film. judging by the previews, it has the biggest role in the movie .

The new remastered edition just came out, I'm kinda interested to see it again and get all fired up like watching a GI Joe Movie.


I've seen the pics from the new Transformers movie, and they use a new Camaro in it.. its like gold metallic.. theres pics on the internet.

Yeah the Transformers movie was filmed on Holloman AFB NM. I was stationed there @ the time it was filmed. The Camaro was not actualy the Camaro but sort of a mock of the 09'. Not only the 09 but the 68' camaro, and a load of 05' mustang sellens set up as cop cars. It was a sick filming right on the airfield.

the marine sucked. i dont like movies that arent somewhat realistic. that camaro took a hundred rounds into the engine and still kept going. it wasnt bad if you try not to analize everything, but ive seen much better. cant wait for transformers to come out. that looks badass.

The Camaro in the transformers movie is a GTO thats Saleen took the body off of and graphted the fiberglass 09 camaro bodies parts too...

It runs drives,etc like a goat,but looks like a camaro....also not a 69 camaro but a 70 or 71

I thought it was retarded. The only metal on that car is the back panels, yet even the hood and front fenders responded like metal to the weapon's fire. Weaksauce.

Geez I saw the Marine with my gf and it was terrible I only saw it because I saw the commercial with the SS Camaro!!!! But yeah the scene lasted 5 minutes and then it blew up in mid-air which made me sad .......needless to saw we walked out 10 minutes later
