Default What clutch will I need for these mods?

Keep in mind I am on a budget. I can't afford to drop $1000 on a clutch, so give me some lower priced options. Car will have: Patriot Stage 1 LS6 heads, Comp LSK lobed 223/227 @.050, .636/.639 lift with a 111 LSA advanced 2 degrees, LT's, FAST 78 w/ported TB, the rest is in my sig. My clutch worked great for me last year, but I know with this added power it's not going to last long I forgot to add - this car will see a pretty good amount of drag strip time as well.

You running drags and dumping? I don't think the Ls7 is going to hold for long. Try the Spec 3+ its cheaper than a grand. I'm using the text oz700 but it is a grand. I just hear the ls7 dont like that more HP, if you was cam only (around .588) I would say do the ls7 but your not.

Good luck.

The LS7 is good for up to 500 RWHP, and will last as long as your not going to the drags everyday, or dumping the clutch everyday

I hit the strip almost every week, so I think I'll stay away from an LS7. I was looking at the Spec 3+ but so many people have bad luck with Spec clutches it makes me wary. Then again, I've seen others have incredible luck with them. Any other options besides the Spec or LS7?

You could go with a Ram Clutch...I hear them hold up on the strip...Centerforce = ****, IMO

I'd go with a Spec Stage 3. My buddy has it in his car and he's putting down 650rwhp on the bottle. Just my .02 cents

check out a LS7 clutch, I just picked one up and I am going to be putting it in this weekend. There are people putting down 550 rwhp with it...also retains a stock feeling
