thanks...yeah the mph wasnt all that great but everyone was surprised at the 60ft that i pulled off....with 35psi in the 20inch tires and full weight original paper element filter....basically stock....im happy....there were a few modular mustangs that i owned and there were some few stock ls1 t/a's and camaros running mid to high 13's who didnt wanna race me cause of the fear of saying they lost to a 5000lb truck

cant wait to run 12's in it like PEDRO

there is a guy in our car club that owns a TBSS and his first time out ever he ran a 13.229 @ 101.44 with a 1.87 60'. And that was in completely stock form! Same as you with 32psi in his stock wheels and tires. I was impressed when i saw that thing come off the line like that!

He has since installed a cam, electric fans, cai, and i believe some exhaust (stock manifolds). He is wanting to get ahold of some 17in. wheels with drag radials or slicks before our next outing. I'm pretty sure the cam is something like a 232/236.

Hey man, is yours 2 wheels drive and what options do you have. I ask because my girlfriend has a tbss but it is a fully loaded all wheel drive and i took it to hrp and the best i got was 14.3, a little tire spin but not much. It trapped the same as yours but only cut a 2.2 60. I was thinking maybe the weight, but it is the slowest time i have seen posted. Anyone know what could be the problem?

That is unbelievable. Let him know about trailblazerSS.com and trailvoy.com. Hundreds of users there, with a timeslip database. The (unofficial) record for 100% stock 2WD is 13.549@101.67 2.073 60'.

If true, he holds the record for stock TB SS's by more than 0.3 sec. Of course he should be prepared for doubters, hope he still has the timeslip and witnesses. Many have tried because they want bragging rights over the Grand Cherokee SRT8, nobody has come close.

I will let him know! I'm pretty sure he still has the timeslip. And i witnessed it along with about 15 other people from our car club. I'll give him a call and find out everything for ya'll. But yah i'm pretty sure it was 100% stock. It was some pretty good weather though too. We were at Lonestar Motorsports Park when he ran.

okay my bad......i just got off the phone with him and he said when we went to the track the only thing he had done was a 3600 stall. But he was only able to stall it up to 2600rpm b/c he was on stock wheels and tires. So sorry i guess i lied. Still pretty damn quick! Its cool seeing those big *** SUVs run!

Brent

P.S.- I think he is on that forum. His name on our local forum is ss_hunter.
