I've read tonas of threads about the clutch sticking to the floor under high acceleration runs. My clutch did this new and now all the time since my H/C addition.
I've heard drill mod, but then I've heard it doesn't work.
I've heard clutch upgrade, then some say they still have a problem.
A local told me about a spring on the firewall that fixed his problem. So once and for all can we settle this clutch sticking business. Chime in. I don't won't to buy a new clutch if that's not really the problem.

Drill mod can help. But sounds like you need a new slave. Replace the slave and master with 01+ if yours is older.

Check your master cylinder for black sludge, mine had it and my new ls7 clutch is sticking to the floor, i am replacing both master and slave im sure it will cure it.
Maybe massa cylinder?
I have the drill mod supposedly.

This is an example of what I'm talking about, I don't want to buy a new clutch and have the same problems that you're having. Thanks for the tip I'll check the cylinder.

if the fluid is black you are most likely boiling the fluid from clutch slippage

Yea i have heard the boiling comment as well, i think the black sludge is my master. I jsut wrapped my line and change master.

i have the same problem but it sticks even in the driveway without the car on and it wont go into any gears...it does this like all day once a week. how much does it cost for a master and slave cylinder. hoping for an easier fix

about $230 would be average I guess for both. The master is not to bad to change out with a buddies help, but the slave...well you know you gota drop the damn tranny for that one.
