Default 15" Prostars grinding caliper?

I put my Prostars on with 15x8 5.5 bs and a 28"x11.5"x15 and the tires fit fine under the car but it grinds the caliper a little. Can I put a spacer on this and it fit correctly? Or do I have to grind the caliper? If so how much and is there any writeup to show exactly where and how much?

It's a trial and error deal. Grind some, put the wheel back on, see if it still rubs, grind, etc etc. I sprayed some primer on my calipers after I grinded them, so I could see where they were rubbing. I spent about an hour on each caliper.

Well I bought them used that's what size wheel he said they were? I'm not sure if he knew what he was talkin about because he said they had ET Streets on them and they had Hoosier QTP's on them lol. But they were on like a 79 malibu G-body.

Even with a spacer you will be grinding all day. It would take probably a 3/4" spacer to not have to grind, not realistic.

You guys must be talking about the fronts, the rears (even with a spacer) will require major grinding. I run a 3/16" spacer on my rears and still had to grind a ton.

Yea, you can't get away from grinding the rears unless you run some big adapters.
