Question Newb to A4's and 3K stall with 3.42's . . . Little Help?

I just had a PerformaBuilt Level 1 transmission installed in my Woman's WS6 with a 3000 stall TC and 3:42 rear gears. Her car is basically stock; Lid/Filter and a Loudmouth.

I am CLUELESS about what to do for autos
Could I get some input about what needs to be adjusted and how far those adjustments need to go? Feel free to post ANY suggestions; no matter how minor

Thank you!!!

How are you planning to edit the settings? I can point
you at HPTuners tune files or this Excel sheet that has
my settings for similar converter & same gears (zip file):

Make the changes from the stock gear ratio to the new gears with the gear calculator (use a 25-inch tire height if using stock wheels/tires).

Also, you may want to raise the TCC lockup in 3rd and 4th for the first two rows (0 and 6%) to 256 mph. This will prevent TCC lock up at low TP%, which can cause some unwanted jerking. The other thing with TCC lock up...you might want to alter the 4th gear table so that it doesn't lock up so low now that you have a 3,000 stall.

There are several threads in here and on the EFI forums that detail the relationship between the part throttle upshift/downshift & TCC lockup/release tables.

As for WOT, make sure the MPH setting is set somewhat low (ie. so that you're at 4500~5000 rpm for the current gear). Then, set the WOT shift RPM accordingly...6,000rpm should be good for a stock car. If it's not shifting at 6,000, make minor adjustments to bring it inline. Sometimes you have to fudge the numbers to get the trans to do what you want.

That's the whole point of the Excel sheet, you can
copy-n-paste tables into anything you want.
