TSP's site say $2900 for the 370 but adding some options that i would brings it to $3200...
On another note... i really wish Speed inc would update their website... the engine part hasnt changed in forever, all they have is 347, 383, and 427's. I know they build iron blocks and different versions of 347's, ls2, etc... would like to see some options and prices for more engines on their site.
TSP and Speed Inc both seem to be pretty neck and neck for their pricing

yea no core just straight up shorblock with everything included in the pricing...and yea some of the fancy options would bring it around to $3100 and change if not more. Im just asking because i have to either buy the 370ci Texas Speed shortblock OR buy a friends LS2 block and build that (myself) and get it to the machine shop for any neccessary work. I dont know which would be better to spend the money on from a performance & reliability standpoint...assuming that my machine shop does a somewhat decent job. I kinda figure that the TSP and Speed Inc. blocks will be better overall but i duno if that difference is worth taht much more money...what do you guys think. The only advantage from building my LS2 block since they will both hold some nice power is that i will save a good chunk of money that i can put into the car car elsewhere and that the LS2 block is like 86lbs lighter than the cast iron one . TIA!!!

Core blocks may need an align bore, provides an opprotunity to properly install ARP main studs.
