3.23 or 3.42
My car has the GU5 code and i thought it was completely stock when i bought it, but i think i may have 3.42's: at 55mph~1750rpm, 60~1900, and 65~2100. I did the gear calculator and it seems closer to 3.42's. Can anyone with either gears help me out to see which sounds right. The best tank i've gotten has been about 20mpg, which seemed low and it just seems like it tachs high going down the highway, i just figured a M6 rear may have been swapped in, any help would be appreciated thanks.

well u are right, a m6 only came with 3.42's, but on the other hand a 3.23 isnt that much different than a 3.42. some of the time the numbers on a calc dont match the actual # the gear is. just my 2 cents

Just out of curiousity how many times should the driveshaft rotate with 3.23's? This mileage sucks and only driving it for highway runs i wish i would have just got a six speed
