Default Hoosier size on 15x8's?

Guys I did a search and looked through the stickies and couldn't find anything, but what is the widest width tire I can run on the 15x8's? I was on Jeg's website and I found a 28 x 11.50 x 15, but it says it is a 10" wide tread. Here's the details:

Hoosier Quick Time Pro D.O.T. Tire
28.0'' x 11.50'' - 15''LT

522-17601QTP

Tire Overall Diameter: 28.0''
Average Roll Out/
Circumference: 88''
Tire Tread Width: 10.0''
Tire Section Width: 11.2''
Wheel Diameter: 15''
Required
Wheel Width: 8'' - 10''
Tire Weight: 22 lbs.

Just curious if they would definitly work on the 8" wide rim without any problems.

So a 11.5 will fit a 8 inch wheel?

I know I post quite often to the guys out there...I'm surprized that you didn't notice any of my posts regarding this exact topic.

...I don't know why you guys keep purchasing those small wheels and installing them on 4th gen F-bodies...they are so small and do not work well with the wider tires you can easily run on the car.

You need to step one size down on the tire...actually consider purchasing 10" wheels which will fit the tire better and give you better stability.

I'm sorry I got the vagina wheels and I couldn't get your big "man" wheels! How long do you think your little 10 bolt is gonna hold up against those man wheels??
