I don't plan on lowering it and the shop told me with the custom y i shoudl be ok. I was just more concerned about sound and performance compared to other brands how this setup will fair.

It's nice having a complete exhaust. Performance should be awesome with long tubes, high flow cats, and custom ypipe. See if they can use a proper merge collector for the ypipe, it will flow better.

Next up would be intake mods. Ls6 intake and ported thottle body. With those 2 and a UDP (optional) you would have all the boltons, and be close to 350 rwhp.

With all the boltons you will be at or above 350 rwhp.

Ls6 intake and ported TB are good mods, you should get them. They will help cement that 350 hp number. I would also get an UPD, just frees up more hp.

I have heard a car with that setup and it sounded good.

For comparison, I went from 324hp/342tq to 342hp/364tq with headers, catted-Y, and a tune. I already had a lid and Corsa cat-back.

that would be cool if u can get a custom fab y pipe. i hear its actually the y pipe on the slp that hangs low. i think they made it hang low so it doesnt bang the floorboard. but post up pics man!

Was the car overly loud or not really?

No, not overly loud. Close in volume to mine, which is not really loud at all until you get on it. Nothing like TD loud.
