Default Dyno Results: Conley Performance :{

Well I took my DD into Conleys performance.... not too happy. It took them about 2 hours to do a full tune on the car..... for 450.00! ouch.

I will try and scan the dyno sheets later on but tell me if this sounds right:
2000 TA M6 with an slp lid, k&N, longtubes, ory, and slp loudmouth 1.....

289 rwhp and 302 in torque....! I was expecting at least 315-320 rwhp! Yuck! What do these cars put to the rear wheel stock! Hopefully these numbers sound right..... what do you guys think?

AFTER THE TUNE

BEFORE THE TUNE

What should it be at... i think they are stock at 320? is that flywheel or to the rear.... 289-290 to the rear wheel.... wtf!

They only took 3 hours to do it... I dropped it off and came back and it was already done...

They showed the first dyno at 278... then after they did the tuning 289...! When I saw the results.... was surely expeciting like 330-340...

original dyno showed: 290 torque with 278 rwhp... and running 17.2 max AFR ratio.... after tune: 289 rwhp and 302 torque.....with a 14.5 AFR max..... right at 127 mph is where the peak of power was... then it would go down.... what is up with this?

If they spent 2 hours on your car, and all you have is boltons, they were spending plenty of time on it.

Most Mustang numbers I've seen tend to be about 30rwhp less than a Dynojet. Take it somewhere and have it strapped on a Dynojet if you want, but you could go bust some *** at HRP twice for what it would cost.

Absolutely, your air / fuel ratio can be set using the tuning software. Give them a call.

Go to www.lgmotorsports.com get the number and ask for Bobby. Tell him Doug sent ya. Good luck.

BTW my car will be there in less then a month for more mods and a repair. LOL

Feel free to email or pm me, again good luck.

Mustang dynos will definitely read lower than a dynojet!

I think even with the difference from the md to a dj the numbers are still low. Something is up.

Why in the hell would he go all the way to Dallas when there are plenty of Houston sponsors that can tune his car as well?

Mustang dyno's show alot less, but your car is lean if its 14:5. At what rpm was it at 14:5? All the way across the boards? Post up the dyno sheet.

But I think you shold get on the horn with them and ask to schedule a re-tune. I'm sure they will do what they can to make it right, just don't be a jerk with them.

Peace,
Craig.

Yes, the Numbers are much lower on a Mustang Dyno. Your "real numbers," or dynojet numbers are right around what you expected them to be, 315-325 rwhp. If I were you I would call them up and ask them, I am 100% positive. Best of Luck, If all else fails bring the car down to G-Force in Pearland, they do great work!

I believe Mustang dynos put a load on your car, to simulate what it would do on the street. Those numbers sound about right for a Mustang dyno, given your mods. My car made 320rwhp on a DynoJet last time I went to a dyno day at G-Force. Mike was able to tune it to make 333rwhp, but that was with the stock 16" rims. Going to 17x11" rear wheels dropped 13hp.

I haven't heard bad things about Conley's. I imagine they'll work with you if you're unsatisfied.
