I heard you are the man to help me post my video. I have this new Sony Handycam that uses DVD videos. So far the Firewire Cable has not helped and I can't figure out what in the hell I am doing. Can you help me post that. Mike @GF said you are the man with the plan. Let me know.

Thanks,
Amber

Amber when I get out class I'll call, but the DVD cam I never figured out. Benji got it to work one time, he has one. If you can convert it to a digital8 or whatever I can rip it instantly. I'll look at some stuff before I go to class.

Amber it is a good camera, but for some reason Sony in their later models have made it so hard to rip videos off of them. Franco and I have the ones that let you stream the right off the Camera over Firewire or USB. With the DVD though its like suppose to be simple for people to use it for family events or events they want to send to people on DVD.

I had to figure out Mikey's Camera yesterday. Ben and I stumbled into the right thing to download the videos LOL!

Yup my Sony cam sucked! I took it back and got a JVC. Works flawless with XP. No software to install. Plug and play with firewire and windows movie maker does the rest. Its as easy as that!

This new Sony camera that Mikey has is really easy to use once you push the wrong button in the software. The DVD Camcorder I had was PITA to get videos off of, though the camera itself was really nice. I remember the only time I was able to put up a video onto the net it was in .MPEG4 format or something goofy that a lot of people couldn't see.
