Default 18x widest??

what is the widest i can go with 18's out back WITHOUT having to minitub the car? i have no problem with a bit of hammering or rolling lips and other stuff, but i dont want a tub. I have been trying to get 18x12 but it doesnt look like it'll happen without the minitub. ill be running a pro kit with billstein shocks too. Im about ready for 18x10.5 zo6's.....but want to know if i can fit 11's. would rather have a wheel with a lip on it. right now i have a good chunk of money that i would like to invest on some nice wheels.

there s aguy on here with a 93 WS6 who put 18x10.5s up front. I'm not sure if he used spacers or not. I have 18x9.5s and they looks real close to rubbing my upper control arm.

Most people with CCW has an 18 x 10 front so they have no problem, it will also be very dependent on offset. The CCW's have no problem at all. I cant tell you what the offset is as mine are still on the way.

11" wheels almost guarantee some kind of minor mod.

50 mm such as ZR1's would be a little BFH, and if lowered with 315's maybe roll the quarter.

46 mm such as TT2's if lowered with 315's maybe roll the quarter.

More times than not the tire choice dictates the amount of mods, ie, a Nitto would need very few mods, the GSD3 would need more . . . .
