I found a set of Stern wheels...but the offset is 13mm for the front and 15mm for the rear...the wheel guide says you can't go that low...is it because they'll stick out really far or what?

Damnit...Man it's hard as hell to find a nice set of wheels that nobody has for a decent price (under $1000). I found some Sterns that I love, I've seen them on a 300ZX and they looked great but damnit I don't want wheels sticking out that far. Grrr, this pisses me off...

by the way. I may be wrong here. but with those sizes/offset. I dont think that they would stick out. I think you'd be fine.but i'll let xsta z28 chime in after seeing your sizes.

As the rim width get narrower, the amount of positive offset has to shrink at half the rate to keep the tire centered.
When you have a rim widened you have to add a spacer to increase the offset. For instance, a 2 inch width increase would need a 1" spacer. This changes the offset to compensate to the wider width and keep the tire centered.
Does that make sense?
