Rules at Lonestar Raceway
Ive never raced at any track before and im heading out to lonestar tomarrow to make a few runs. what are the rules on wearing a helmet. im not sure what my car will run so i need a lil help. thanks guys

id say bring a helmet. i was there last night with my buddy and he didnt have one he made several passes before they told him he needed one. he was runnin mid 12's.

Saying you don't think your car will run a 13.5 first pass is just plain lying...the tech. is gonna slap your *** anyways if you do it more than once...funny our track will rent you a helmet if you don't have one...check with the track officials. It reminds me of when the ricers don't wear their seatbelt becuase they can't lean up on the steering wheel before take off...hahahah! People get kicked off the track all the time for letting glamour or sheer DUH! get the best of them...safety should be the first thing on your mind.

I have never had to wear a helmet at lone star. best run i ever made out there was a 13.5 with a 2.6 sixty, the track sucked so bad that nite hopfully it is better when you go. My next trip to the track will be to san antonio.
